Eww, this one year old girl has a baby in her stomach, believed to be a parasitic twin which doctors will remove. And people wonder why pregnancy and babies freak the crap out of me.

First of all, hold your horses. What are you basing the assumption that you are pregnant on? Are you getting morning sickness? Headaches? Is your period late? Sure, a box of chocolates is nice, but I bet that set of candles she mentioned a while back would really show her you care. Think back on the things you’ve heard her talk about. Did she mention something she saw in a particular store, or something she said she was interested in in passing? A gift is much more meaningful if it shows her that you were paying attention when she casually mentioned that little trinket a few weeks back.
