I went to a friend’s 18th last night. We started off with drinks at hers and then went to Metros Freo. I’m getting the suspicion that this was a themed party as everyone was wearing black except me. Hmmm. :P But I like my little red dress :D.

I had way too much to drink. Well, I guess you could say that I had just enough to drink as I didn’t throw up or get a headache the next morning, but my head did feel like it was spinning the whole morning. I spent the night on jager bombs and some other stuff that a friend gave me and ended up dancing on the stage with a friend and her boyfriend. Fun :D. 

HHRay was there, too, but I only saw him for about 30 minutes throughout the whole night. He was off galavanting around, making other women want to give him their panties or have him sign their boobs, I’m sure. He said I wasn’t allowed to dance with any guys I don’t know. Pfft whatever, when countered with the reminder of him dancing with a random girl at a club that he’s told me about I was told that he was ‘only joking’ and didn’t actually do it. Yeah, I don’t believe him. In either case, I didn’t dance with any strange men – they danced with me. In all seriousness, strange men getting too close were promptly nudged away with a smile. 

I don’t remember ever being so drunk at a club. And the taxi line was way too long – it was pouring down when we came out at about 2am ish. HHRay claims I took my boobs out in the process of adjusting my bra, but he’s wrong. I may have been drunk but I was definitely very efficient in purposefully covering them up while I made the adjustments.

Updates updates updates. I was so tired once weekend came around that all I wanted to do was lay around and sleep. Except first, I wanted to go to this awesome bar and unfortunately that didn’t work out due to stupid bus schedules and time difficulties :( This has got to be like the 4th or 5th time in a row that I’ve missed going to this particular place and it sucks.

Last night HHRay’s family and I went to Paddo’s and I loved it. The Cheeky Monkeys were playing, it was the first time I’d ever heard them, and they were awesome. Unfortunately HHRay absolutely hated it there so the two of us left early – it was a bit of an adventure getting back to HHRay’s using public transport, though. I won’t go into details, but let’s just say it involves being lost, public urination, freezing, and taxis.

I definitely want to go back there again one day, though – the atmosphere at this place was totally different from a normal club. People are a bit older therefore more mature – everyone’s having a grand time, smiles at everyone else, it’s a really homey atmosphere. Oh and when you try to squeeze through the crowd people actually move aside for you unlike in a club – where everyone bumps into you as if on fricking purpose (it’s a huge pet peeve of mine).

I did something very bad – I invested in a GHD hair styler. I had a choice – either the Pure white styler from the limited edition line or the Dark black one – I went for black because I had read that the white one rusts easily and such. I thought HHRay would kill me when I told him – and for a minute there it really seemed like he would. But then he saw how happy I was with my $319 impulse purchase and his heart melted a little (I hope he doesn’t read this because if he finds out the actual price of this thing his heart will freeze up again like an icicle and I’ll really be in trouble then).

I slept for most of the day today and feel almost fully rested now. I think I’m ready to go back to work tomorrow, just need to make sure that I get a good night’s sleep tonight.

Had a shift at the Ruby Room last night, with the bus. It was great. The bus was totally packed almost the entire time and by the end we didn’t even have time to give people tours of the bus because all everyone wanted was polaroids. Shame, they missed out on our awesome empty jacuzzi.

V8s today. I hope the girls who are doing the main event are OK in the rain – it’s pouring down here, thunder and lightning and everything. Not extremely heavy, but pretty darn bad. I’m going to the V8s in a little while with 2 other girls to do the bus again. At least we have cover, I hope the girls don’t get drenched and cold in the rain :(

Well, the shoot (more info about that later, I know I haven’t clued you guys in on that yet) went awesome despite distractions. We were shooting in East Perth and the place was pretty quiet until a party started nearby and these boats full of men kept passing by. I got proposed to :$ It was flattering at first, but after a while we couldn’t concentrate. Makeup took an hour and a half to do , the MUA did a great job.

Anyway, it wasn’t nearly as awkward or weird as I expected it to be.

The Ruby Room was nice. I wish they had better music, though. They had a live band and barely any dance music at the time we were there. Last time I went all the songs were awesome and I was hoping they’d be as awesome this time. Anyway, HHRay and I went down to the casino and I made 5 bucks last me like 40 minutes, which I think is excellent. I came out with nothing, of course, but I had that exhilarating feeling nonetheless when I won back what I had put into the machine and heard the jingle of the coin – $1.
